Funchal Botanical Garden

The Funchal Botanical Garden was built in 1960 – it is located at a distance of 3 km from the center of Funchal. The garden, which offers the ideal conditions for the flourishing of the most diverse flora from all over the world, was opened on the grounds of the Quinta do Bom Sucesso, which was (at that time) owned by the Reid family.
