Knokke-Heist

Knokke-Heist, a Belgian coastal town on the Dutch border, is known for its wide, unspoiled sandy beach that stretches along the North Sea. The coastline showcases the beauty of the Belgian coast, making it a perfect spot for those seeking peace and natural scenery.

The set of four pictures was taken on 28. August 2022 with a DJI Air 2S.

The image shows multiple parallel tire tracks imprinted in the sand, likely from vehicles used for beach maintenance or off-road driving. Additionally, there are numerous footprints scattered across the sand, indicating pedestrian activity.

The second image in this series shows the same tire tracks an footprints, however, from a greater distance. In the upper part of the image, there is a transition from lighter sand to a darker, wetter area. The contrast between the different tones of sand, along with the geometric patterns of the tire tracks and organic shapes of the footprints, creates an interesting visual composition.

The image shows a formation in the shallow waters of the sea, extending in a straight line from the bottom to the top of the frame. This formation appears to be a breakwater or a submerged rock barrier, partially covered by waves and white foam as the water flows over it.

The sea displays a gradient of greenish hues, indicating different depths and possibly varying levels of sand or algae in the water.

This aerial photograph is the second image in the series and shows a stunning coastal scene where the sea meets the sandy shore. The focal point is a breakwater or rock formation extending from the beach into the ocean. This structure disrupts the flow of the waves, creating a dynamic pattern of white foam on either side.
